7 Bass

I caught 7 Bass on an inland lake.

I used a Texas Rig with 1/8 oz. bullet sinker and a size 1 Offset Shank Worm hook with a plastic worm.

This rig does a couple things.
The sinker allows the worm to get to the bottom of the lake, but since the hook is so close to the body of the worm, it prevents it from snagging on weeds or debris on the bottom. Additionally, the size 1 hook deters smaller fish from being able to eat the bait. So you're not messing around with fish too small.

I caught 1 x 11.5", 5 x 11", 1 x 10.5" Bass.

The largest one weighed 1 pound, the 11" weighed 0.75lbs, the small one weighed 0.5lb.

This fish was eating another fish when I caught it.... I discovered the inner fish when I went to gut and scale it....

AFISHON!!!
